Annie Preston

Annie Preston is excited to join the preschool community and share her love of learning with young children. With more than 13 years of experience in education, she brings a strong background in teaching, curriculum development, and creating engaging learning experiences that help children grow with confidence. Annie holds a Master of Science in Secondary Education from McDaniel College and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Business Administration. She is certified by the MSDE in K-12 Business and Spanish and has served as a teacher, mentor, curriculum writer, and educational leader throughout her career.

Annie believes that the early childhood years are a special time for building curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. She is passionate about creating a nurturing classroom where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore the world around them. She enjoys partnering with families to support each child's unique strengths and celebrate their growth.

Outside of the classroom, Annie enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters, traveling, exploring different cultures, and sharing her love of the Spanish language. She is thrilled to be part of the LONS school family and looks forward to making meaningful connections with students and their families.
