Lauren Oliver

Lauren joins us as the parent representative and Parent Group President at LONS. She is a previous teacher, but currently a stay at home mom of 4 with a Kindergartener, preschooler, and two infants. As the Parent Group President she helps to build connections between the staff, parents, and community through events, fundraising, and staff celebrations.

Lauren is a Maryland native and attended the University of Maryland where she earned her degree in Middle School Math and Science Education. She went on to teach middle school science in Northern Virginia for 5 years before returning to Maryland after the birth of her first son. Having been a member of Parent-Teacher organizations as both a parent and teacher, Lauren offers a unique perspective and ability to facilitate a strong home-to-school connection.

As the Parent Group President she is dedicated to building connections between the staff, parents, and community through events, fundraising, and staff celebrations. She is eager to support the community and help the school thrive for the kids!
